The Together Program is an innovative 3 year pilot program developed in response to the number of babies born into homelessness. The pilot is a collaboration between Uniting WA and Homeless Healthcare. The program addresses the unique needs of the mothers and their newborns, offering comprehensive, tailored support including safe and stable housing and medical care. The program helps mothers develop a nurturing environment, enabling them to retain custody of their child.
So far, four women and their babies are participating in the program with excellent results.
