At the 58th Session of the Commission for Social Development, the priority theme was Affordable housing and social protection for all to address homelessness. One keynote speaker was former President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, who gave a compelling address about homelessness, touching on her own family’s experience of homelessness as a child.
